In good company STEINERT Elektromagnetbau GmbH donates €1,600
01 February 2016
Marcus Heinrich, the CEO of Steinert Elektromagnetbau GmbH and Hermann Frerich, Chairman of the Works Council only have to cross the street in order to get to the wünschdirwas (“Make a Wish”) office. In the weeks before Christmas, the company’s workforce had collected donations for a good cause. In 2015 year the donations, which the company’s management had topped up to a total of €1,600, went to wünschdirwas, a charity that fulfils the long-held wishes of seriously ill children and teenagers. “It’s very important for us and our employees to be able to help people at the local level and to know what we can accomplish with our collective donation. That’s why the work being done by wünschdirwas persuaded us to choose it as our recipient,” says Hermann Frerich, who is one of the people responsible for organizing the drive for employee donations. Frerich reports that it was not difficult to persuade people to donate. “Our employees reacted very positively to the proposal to donate to wünschdirwas,” he says. “We’re very happy that the total amount of the donation was so high, and that we can use it to make children and teenagers very happy by granting them their heart’s desire,” said Marcus Heinrich as he handed over the donation to Christa Mohr-Folkmer, a member of the wünschdirwas Executive Committee.
wünschdirwas e.V. would like to express its sincere thanks to the entire workforce of Steinert Elektromagnetbau GmbH for its generous donation, which will be used to fulfil many of the deepest wishes of severely ill children and teenagers.
